AIPEA AWARDS AND FUNDS
The aim of AIPEA is the worldwide promotion of clay research and technology and of international cooperation in clay research and technology.
STUDENT BEST SPEAKER & POSTER AWARDS is sponsored by the Organising Committee and AIPEA and it is designated to encourage young scientists, who will receive a certificate during the Conference.
The following awards are sponsored by AIPEA
STUDENT TRAVEL FUNDS. AIPEA will assign financial contributions to support students to travel to the 17th International Clay Conference.
AIPEA MEDALS were established by the General Assembly of AIPEA to honour active clay scientists in recognition of their contributions to clay science.
AIPEA FELLOWS was established to recognize and reward clay scientists with a life-long activity in promoting clay science and in supporting the clay science community through AIPEA or other bodies.
AIPEA BRADLEY AWARD offers financial assistance to the recipient (under 35 years of age on the closing date for submission) to enable him or her to participate in an International Clay Conference for the purpose of presenting his or her paper.

CMS JACKSON AWARD is to recognize mid-career scientists for excellence in the contribution of new knowledge to clay minerals science through original and scholarly research.
CMS BRINDLEY AWARD is to recognize a clay scientist who will infuse the Society with new ideas, someone who is both a dynamic speaker, and involved in innovative research.
CMS BAILEY AWARD is the highest honor of The Clay Minerals Society (CMS) and is awarded solely for scientific eminence in clay mineralogy (in its broadest sense) as evidenced primarily by the publication of outstanding original scientific research and by the impact of this research on the clay sciences.
CMS PIONEER IN CLAY SCIENCE LECTURE recognizes research contributions that have led to important new directions in clay minerals science and technology and is selected by the local organizing committee.
CMS STUDENT TRAVEL GRANTS require membership to the CMS and are to provide partial financial support for students to attend the annual meeting of The Clay Minerals Society to present results of their research.
